Peacock Ensures Food Safety Practices with SQF Certification
Today’s consumers have a justifiably unprecedented interest in food safety and quality.
Peacock shares this concern, and is dedicated to assuring food safety through the highest standards of packaging and design. Included in our efforts is our adherence to the Safe Quality Food Certification (SQF) standards. SQF is an independent institute recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative for meeting the highest international standards. Its certification validates that a company’s food safety, quality and regulatory practices meet the highest standards.
Two of four Peacock facilities have already achieved level-two SQF certification for food safety. All four facilities are on track for level-three certification by July 2009.
